Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Produced at the CBC's Toronto facilities, Floor Show was among the first of the Canadian network's TV variety offerings. Staged in a nightclub-style setting, the series spotlighted the country's top dance bands. Regular performers included dancer Alan Lund, while the host was a very youthful Monty Hall, making his first transition from radio to television. Floor Show was broadcast from June 22 to July 13, 1953.
