Synopsis by Hal Erickson

Billy "Sky-High" Wardwell (Herbert Rawlinson) and his pal "Domino" Dominick (Frank McQuarrie) are veteran sideshow hucksters who make a good living clipping the yokels with phony gold watches and "fixed" games of chance. When the Law finally catches up with them, Sky-High and Domino are thrown in jail but bust out and hop a freight to the backwater burg of Watabunk. Here Sky-High falls in love with Jane Higginbotham (Brownie Vernon), and for her sake he goes straight and accepts a job with the local newspaper. While thus employed, Sky-High wheels and deals to rescue Jane's aviator father (Marc Fenton) from bankruptcy. Somehow it is inevitable that our hero will be forced to take to the air himself to save the day -- not to mention his own hide.
