Not to be confused with the American syndicated music series of the same name, the CBC's Flipside was a summer program emanating from the network's Montréal studios. Interviews with top musical performers were interspersed with the sage observations of representatives from the various Canadian recording agencies. For those not interested in chat, the series was top-heavy with filmed concert footages. Produced and hosted by Jim McKenna, Flipside originally aired from June 29 to September 14, 1974.
