Synopsis by Kimber Myers
Crime may rule the streets of poverty-ridden Flint, Michigan, but this documentary from native son Omar McGee demonstrates that there is an alternative. Flintown Kids shows the positive effect that basketball has had on the residents of the Michigan city, including NBA players such as Morris Peterson, Mateen Cleaves, Chucky Atkins, Tracy McGrady, and Glen Rice.
