Screenwriter Jane Murfin also co-produced and co-directed (with Justin H. McCloskey) this inspirational melodrama about a broadminded rector (Rockliffe Fellowes) ousted from his church by the bigoted vestrymen. Fellowes only defendor is May Allison and he repays the woman's gesture by restoring the sight of her little boy (Stanley Goethals). Listed last in the cast is "Brawn, son of Strongheart," not too surprisingly considering that the film was co-produced (with Mis Murfin) by canine star Stronghart's owner, Lawrence Trimble.
