Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

An Eastern society wastrel goes West to become a man in this low-budget silent Western produced and directed by Clifford S. Elfelt and starring the strapping J.B. Warner. Riding a box car, Jeff Hartman (Warner) captures a couple of thieves and is well rewarded by the sheriff at the train's Western destination. But when the receipts from the town fair go missing, Hartman, who is now in love with the sheriff's daughter, Marion Barrows (Alma Bennett), is mistaken for the culprit and forced to flee. He is apprehended by the strong-minded Marion and returned to the sheriff's office at gunpoint. As it turns out, the sheriff's little nephew (Frankie Lee) is the true "thief" and Jeff and Marion are free to marry.
