Synopsis by Janiss Garza
A West Indian planter dies and leaves his estate to his nephew, Dick Lorient (Tom Terriss, who also directed). Dick, a New Yorker who is engaged to his cousin, Dulcie Lanyon, travels to Jamaica to see just what he's got down there. Along with his newly-acquired property he finds overseer John Stark (Rienzi deCordova), who will inherit the estate in the event of Dick's death. Stark would really like to see Dick come to a bad end, and he enlists the help of his lover (Elaine Terriss). The woman succeeds in seducing Dick, but he comes to his sense before Stark can proceed with his plan. Stark and his lady friend are the ones who meet untimely demises, and Dick returns home to his sweetheart. This is one of several films that Tom Terriss shot on location in Jamaica.
