synopsis
In this war drama, set in Central Europe during WW II, five Yugoslavian women become pariahs after they are caught sleeping with Nazis. For their crime, they have their heads shaved and must endure ostracism from the partisans. Despite the rejection and ridicule they suffer, the women work together to prove their patriotism.
