synopsis
This documentary examines the sad case of Tat Marina, a Cambodian woman who was attacked with acid at the age of 16. After being granted asylum in the United States, Marina struggles to come to terms with her own self-image and crippling anxiety, and hopes to bring awareness to the public regarding the use of acid as a means of violence against women.
