Synopsis by Daniel Gelb
Amy (Amy Everson) struggles to cope with her traumatic sexual past by creating bizarre alter-egos through handmade costumes to combat the male-dominated society in which she exists. She's increasingly shut off from the world despite the urging of her friends to continue dating and to break out of her shell. A chance rendezvous with a shy man (Kentucker Audley) sparks a new relationship, as he slowly earns Amy's trust and affection, but a friend questions his real motives. This piercing feminist film from director Jason Banker, based on Everson's real life experiences, unearths the darkness of rape culture and the psychological horror of Amy's journey.
