Synopsis by Bruce Calvert
Felix the Cat has fun at a party at the Whoopee Club until the early hours of the morning. At home, his wife paces the floor while carrying a rolling pin. When Felix finally leaves at 3:30 a.m., he is so drunk that he sees the buildings sway with the music, and lamp posts and cars turn into strange creatures. When he gets home, Mrs. Cat has a surprise for him. This film does have music and sound effects, but the characters do not dance to the music or talk as in the Disney Mickey Mouse cartoons that were released at the same time. After 1930, there would be no more Felix the Cat cartoons for five years, while Mickey became a worldwide star.
