Synopsis by Sandra Brennan

In this off-beat musical from the mid-'60s a recently-discharged soldier comes home from spending time in Germany to see that his girl friend and her pals have become quite hip and perform in a rock & roll band called the Brattle Street East. The romantic bliss between the newly reunited lovers is nearly destroyed when the singer's beau goes for a sports car jaunt with her sexy roomie. The car breaks down en route so they are gone for a suspiciously long time. When the two finally do return, the girl friend is so angry that she gives both her lover and her roommate the boot. This causes all kinds of problems, but fortunately by the story's end, everything gets straightened out and after much music and dancing, harmony is restored.
