Both Dave Worth (Kirk Alyn) and fellow FBI agent Steve Evans (James Dale) escape their latest brush with death but Gordon (Roy Barcroft) and his henchman (Tom Steele) manage to flee. Nila (Carol Forman) appears at Professor Williams' office disguised as a scrubwoman and accuses the scholar (Bruce Edwards) of being in possession of the Golden Hand of Kurigal, one of a pair of solid gold statuettes that together will reveal the location of Kurigal's untold riches. Williams (Bruce Edwards) admits to having smuggled the hand out of Abistahn and they agree to work together in an effort to locate its mate. Williams slips out of the museum in an ambulance but the vehicle is trailed by Worth and Evans. At the most opportune moment, Williams and his driver, Gordon, abandon their vehicle, which collides head on with Dave's.
