Synopsis by Nathan Southern
In this world music-themed performance release, an icon of Turkish music, Fazil Say, teams up with one of his fellow countrymen, Sertab Erener, for a melodic collaboration. Say then provides wholly unique and non-traditional interpretations of Beethoven and Bach, before the program segues into excerpts from performances of his compositions Nazim and Black Earth.
