Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The TLC cable channel's first home-grown foray into the talk-show field, the weekly Fashionably Late with Stacy London was a vehicle for the world-famous fashion magazine editor and consultant who'd risen to American TV fame on What Not to Wear. Fronting a lavishly decorated set which included, among other things, a wall of shoes, Stacy London and her guests dispensed style and fashion tips, discussed the latest trends, offered personal advice, and made with the customary celebrity gossip. The series' regular segments bore such tantalizing titles as "Style Quiz" and "Makeover Magicians". Described by TLC as "a girl's night out worth staying in for," the 60-minute Fashionably Late with Stacy London debuted November 23, 2007.
