Synopsis by Jason Buchanan
Business and family collide in documentary filmmakers Emily Ting and Helen Jen's portrait of a prodigal daughter who accepts her father's invitation to return home and take over the family business, only to find the situation complicated by the intrusion of her scheming stepmother. Emily Ting was living the life in New York City when her father unexpectedly summoned her back to Hong Kong. Mr. Ting has dedicated his entire life to making his toy company a success, and now that he's preparing to step down he longs to make his daughter the new CEO. But as a result of his dedication to business, Mr. Ting never really connected with his daughter Emily. Now, as father and daughter attempt to find a common ground, Emily becomes hopelessly drawn into a conflict that she had always hoped to avoid.
