The PBS original documentary Exploring Space: The Quest for Life carries viewers into a two-hour probe of some of the universe's most overwhelming enigmas. The program begins by addressing the question "How did life on Earth originate -- via Darwinian evolution and natural selection that may have followed The Big Bang, or via some higher power?" The program then segues into the question of extraterrestrial life on other planets.
