Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The head of the famous Explorers Club, Richard Wiese brought his vast globe-trotting experience and his worldly expertise to the small screen in this weekly, half-hour syndicated travel show. On each episode, the youngish, ebullient Wiese whisked the viewers to an exciting different locale, making certain to fill those viewers in on the history and culture of those places, rather than merely flashing pretty pictures in front of the camera. The series was co-developed by the same production team responsible for the peripatetic reality series The Amazing Race and the daily Jack Hanna's Animal Adventures. Exploration with Richard Wiese premiered in most TV markets on or about September 26, 2005.
