Every Bastard a King on AllMovie

This war drama is loosely based on a true story. It is set on the eve of the Six-Day War and chronicles the exploits of a courageous Israeli pilot who attempted to fly his little plane to Cairo. There he planned to beg Gamal Abdel Nasser for peace. He is over Sinai, when he is forced down. He is therefore, unable to rejoin the Israeli army. Also included in the film is a twenty minute tank battle using British built Israeli tanks and Russian-built Egyptian tanks. In addition, film clips from the actual war are interspersed amongst the staged action.
