Synopsis by Janiss Garza
When her father can no longer provide for her, Eve Ricardo (Charlotte Walker) finds herself exiled from her fashionable life to go live in a little fishing village with a spinster aunt. But somehow she manages to dig up two suitors, John Sheen (Thomas Santschi) and Paul Armitage (Wheeler Oakman). Sheen's sister Nina Carey (Violet Palmer) is miffed because Eve has stolen Armitage's attention away from her. So she and her equally jealous and lustful brother try to show Eve up as a wicked adventuress. Their plot doesn't work, and eventually Nina confesses that her motives were purely selfish. Eve and Armitage end up in the usual clinch. This picture was based on a novel and play by Cosmo Hamilton, a popular author of the era.
