synopsis
So as not to be confused with the American production Inside of the White Slave Traffic, this British exploitationer was billed as the European Version of the White Slave Traffic. The heroine, Edith, is led down the primrose path by a scurrilous city slicker. Having been convinced that she's already sacrificed her virtue, Edith sorrowfully resigns herself to a lifetime of prostitution. But unlike the heroine of the American version, Edith is rescued in the nick o' time by a stalwart hero bearing the stalwart name of Jack Lester. The hero then rescues several other unfortunate young ladies from selling themselves into white slavery. This cautionary drama was distributed in the U.S. by A&A Films, an anagram for Ascher and Adler.
