synopsis
In this espionage drama, set during WW II, an O.S.S. agent must facilitate the escape of a German general who must get out of occupied France and into England. The agent does not do this willingly as this general was responsible for the death of his lover and eleven other French hostages. Also adding to his stress is the fact that the French underground is not willingly cooperating. En route, the agent learns that the general is really a counterspy for the Nazis. He promptly kills the treacherous German officer.
