Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
Teen love and angst are at the nexus of this standard comedy-melodrama from director Clifford Choi. Hong Kong singer Danny Chan is the hero who is not only trying to make it through school and into life intact, he has to somehow deal with an uncle who loves his bottle just a little too much (one of many problems). As the teen slowly comes of age, a panorama of early adulthood unfolds. The story is highlighted by dissension between sons and fathers, competition in arenas as diverse as sports and love, and loyalty among true friends.
