When a bandit folk-hero is brutally slain, his son's efforts to track down the killer lead him into a twisting world of love and intrigue in director Rolondo Aguilar's passionate romantic adventure. Heraclio Bernal was a bandit with a heart of gold. A generous thief who always shared his take with the less fortunate, Heraclio became something of a hero to the downtrodden masses. When Heraclio is killed and his vengeful son Braulio assumes the role of a cattle rustler in order to ferret out the murderer responsible for his father's death, he quickly falls for the beautiful Margarita. Problems arise, however, when Braulio discovers that the man behind the bloody crime was none other than Margarita's powerful father. Now torn between love and vengeance, Braulio must convince Margarita of his devotion while simultaneously plotting the revenge that will restore his honor.
