synopsis
The English translation of El Cochecito is Little Motor Bike. This Spanish black comedy stars Jose Isbert as an elderly gent who befriends a young, handicapped man. Envious of his friend's motorized bicycle, Isbert demands that his family buy him a bike as well. When they refuse, Isbert methodically poisons his family members one by one, using their tiny legacies to finance his purchase of a bicycle. Strange but true: the audience's sympathy is firmly in Jose Isbert's corner throughout El Cochecito.
