Synopsis by Eleanor Mannikka
This conventional sports film is about an ice hockey team brought up from the basement of their league to playoff status by a coach who favors praise and good doses of self-confidence, over the tactics of the unscrupulous manager who feels any dirty tricks that work are fine. Caught in the push-and-pull between the coach and manager and the desire to succeed, a young player is forced to choose between his two loves -- a particular woman, and the game of hockey.
