Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Another imitative "shockumentary" in the style of Mondo Cane, this international freakshow has George Sanders narrating clips of reindeer being castrated, native tribes doing odd things, and the usual padding including karate and roller-derby footage. Of most interest to cult film fans will be the segment chronicling the final performance at France's notorious Theatre du Grand Guignol, the progenitor of gory horror as entertainment. The American version was prepared by sleaze legends R.L. Frost and Bob Cresse. If you like this sort of thing, it's one of the '60s best entries in the genre.
