synopsis
Directors Amanda Taylor and Kim Brown capture the on-stage and off-stage drama of an exuberant drag-king show in this short documentary. The all-lesbian performance troupe behind the Minneapolis live production Dykes Do Drag presents an array of over-the-top characters over the course of their stage show, from butch, alpha-male stereotypes to swishy, effeminate guys, with a few über-femme diva roles thrown in for good measure.
