Director Matthew Thompson crafts this alternately humorous and poignant tale of two brothers who each rely on vastly different coping mechanisms to deal with a monumental family tragedy. While eccentric pre-teen Jack opts to minimize his malaise by engaging in some decidedly odd private behavior, his more extroverted older brother Danny opts to immerse himself in a passively self-destructive world of wild parties and loose women.
