Synopsis by Robert Firsching
Hong Kong filmmaker Jeffrey Chiang directed this intriguing thriller from the pen of James Yuen (He's a Woman, She's a Man). Mark Chen and Chan Kwok-Pong star as Chan and Lai, two police officers investigating the case of a serial murderer who hunts women, killing his victims with a single deadly stab to the spine. The prime suspect is Cheng (Michael Wong), another policeman assigned to the case who had prior associations with each of the victims, all of whom belonged to the same singles club of which he is also a member. Lai has a grudge against Cheng for other reasons, and is eager to see him blamed for the killings. Chan starts dating a blind psychologist who is a consultant on the case, the beautiful Michelle Lau (Valerie Chow), whose advice about the killer's profile is very useful to the investigators. What Michelle doesn't know is that Chan has a great deal to hide about his past, and her involvement with him could cost the pretty doctor her life. Bonnie Fu and Alex Fong co-star.
