synopsis
Friday (Jack Webb) and Smith (Ben Alexander) go after the Person or Persons Unknown who have been robbing homes while the occupants are attending weddings or funerals. Nearly one hundred homes are ransacked before the detectives finally get a lead in the form of a monogrammed gold watch which has turned up in a pawnshop. This is one of a handful of sixth-season Dragnet episodes written especially for television, with no prior radio version.
