Dopo una Notte D'Amore was released in English-speaking countries as After a Night of Love. Per the title, the film takes place "the morning after" a drunken bacchanal. Among the revellers were two men and two women -- and when three of them awaken at sunrise, they discover that the fourth has apparently been killed. Shards of glass left at the scene of the alleged crime suggest that the murder weapon was (appropriately enough) a champagne bottle. There's plenty of soul-searching and breast-beating before the surprise ending lets everybody off the hook. Despite its morbid trappings, the film is a comedy, and a fairly bawdy one at that.
