Synopsis by Rose of Sharon Winter
Two of the best-loved musicians in country music are Doc Watson and his son, Merle Watson. They were an inseparable team until the sad day when Merle Watson was accidentally killed in a farm accident. This documentary captures the joy of their music in a concert that took place in 1980, in which they perform some of their best-known songs. There is also an interview with the two Watsons at the family farm in North Carolina.
