Johann Strauss' three act operetta is performed before a live audience at the 2001 Salzburger Festspiele in this production featuring libretto by Carl Haffner and Richard Genée and music by the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg and the Arnold Schönberg Chorus under the direction of chorus leader Erwin Ortner.
