Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Low-budget silent Western star Bob Custer usually had trouble bringing one character to life, much less two. Custer was nevertheless asked to play twin brothers -- named Ace and Deuce, no less -- in this typical FBO oater directed by Jack Nelson. Happily, Nelson made sure that the bad Custer wore a different hat, lest the audience should be overly confused, and killed him off in the first reel. The good Custer then goes undercover as his no-good -- but now dead -- twin brother in order to entrap the killer, falling in love with rancher's daughter Hazel Deane (aka Hazel Maye) along the way.
