Julie Gustafson's documentary Desire sketches the lives of five teenage girls who hail from different sections of New Orleans, representative of different socioeconomic levels. The filmmakers interview the girls about their hopes, dreams, and desires, and show how despite their different economic situations the travails of being a teenage girl are quite universal.
