Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Holistic fitness guru Denise Austin was a fixture of the Lifetime cable network in the late 20th and early 21st century. Among her many programs for the network was this Monday-Friday exercise-and-nutrition effort. In keeping with the star's myriad of books and exercise videos, not to mention her regular column for Prevention magazine, Austin used this series to promote her theory that one can eat pretty much anything one wants -- so long as one keeps exercising sensibly. Denise Austin's Fit and Lite first aired in the summer of 2003.
