synopsis
This gripping courtroom drama -- originally broadcast live on the television series Studio One in 1957 -- follows a father and son legal team (William Shatner and Ralph Bellamy) as they take on a case to defend a notorious juvenile delinquent (Steve McQueen) who has been accused of murder. Later spun off into a weekly television series, this episode of The Defender also features Martin Balsam.
