synopsis
In this routine war drama, Tunisian patriots rise up against their French colonial suppressors, and an individual act of defiance explodes into a national crusade to insure the independence of Tunisia. The oppressed Tunisians battle brutal police tactics and wine-guzzling French soldiers in their struggle for freedom.
