Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Two political refugees battle bureaucratic red tape while trying to become Swiss citizens in this telling political drama. Done in a semi-documentary style, the feature begins with Elba (Nohemi Dragonne) and Jan (Julius Effenberger) when they meet at a refugee center. The story is based on a real incident in which two refugees who had a child together wanted to marry and the father was subsequently deported.
