Synopsis by Bhob Stewart
This lengthy (204 minutes) Austrian documentary looks at life among civilian survivors of the war in Bosnia in the peace after the November 1995 Dayton Accord. Filmmaker Nikolaus Geyrhalter filmed over a year, dividing the film into four sections, beginning with "Spring." Some subjects from the opening section are seen in later segments. Tensions relax as the seasons pass. Shown at 1997 film festivals (Venice, Thessaloniki).
