Synopsis by Janiss Garza

This drama, which was based on a Saturday Evening Post story, paints a particularly black portrait of "Reds," or Bolsheviks. Doctor King (Walt Whitman) has sacrificed nearly everything to send his boy to college, but John (Lloyd Hughes) throws it all away to align himself with his Bolshevik friends. Boris Blotchi (Jack Richardson) and Sophia Guerni (Claire DuBrey) are only interested in John because of his American birth and his gung-ho personality, but he doesn't realize that. He takes part in a riot and winds up in prison. When he gets out he briefly visits his heartbroken father. He also visits his childhood sweetheart, May Weston (Barbara Castleton), who has inherited her father's shipyard. But neither of them can keep John around for very long, and soon he returns to his Red friends. He discovers that they are agitating dissatisfied workers at May's shipyard, but he doesn't realize just what they intend to do until they incite the workers to riot. They blow up May's offices with a bomb and she is injured. John finally wakes up, and is injured himself while driving back the evil throng. May recovers from her wounds and forgives John. The couple, at last, are reunited.
