Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein
Penny-pinching producer William Steiner released this obscure silent western about an engineer, Doug McBride (Neal Hart, who comes to the aid of a prospector and his (inevitable) daughter. The prospector, of course, is terrorized by villains eager to drive him away from his valuable mine. A former real-life lawman from Wyoming, Hart never enjoyed the popularity of his namesake (and, by some claims, cousin) William S. Hart.
