synopsis
A colorful carnival in the Village proves to be anything but fun for Number Six. It all begins when, upon discovering that a dead body has washed up on shore, Number Six attempts to contact the "outside" by hiding a message on the corpse. Before long, however, he is taken into custody and placed on trial --- with no notion as to the crime, the charges or the penalty. Mary Morris co-stars as the New Number Two, while Alan White provides a significant bit of information in his brief appearance as Roland Walter Dutton. Written by Anthony Skene, the Kafkaesque "Dance of the Dead" was first broadcast in England on November 26, 1967, and in America on July 27, 1968.
