Paul Naschy returns as the werewolf in this sequel of sorts to Werewolf Shadow, and like that Spanish horror epic, the best thing going for it is Naschy's monster mask, which makes the whites of his eyes pop out as if he's got a bad thyroid condition. This time out the cursed werewolf is Waldemar Daninsky, a man of wealth and breeding who happens to turn into a carnivorous wolf once in a blue moon, or, rather a full moon. Complicating his life is a coven of other-worldly witches who seem to be invading from a parallel horror movie; when the paths bisect, there's a nominal amount of action and implied sex, but nothing too horrific or erotic. In other words, this werewolf movie is a howler.
