Chaos comes knocking on the door of a charismatic "fixer" as a small town struggles to deal with the spreading revolution in director Juan Gerard's simmering tale of strife and confrontation. All Che (Harvey Keitel) wants in the quiet town he presides over is a little peace, but when rebels target the local power plant and leave his people in darkness, the time comes to take on the turmoil that's swelling all around them. As the stoic police captain and an idealistic young revolutionary named Ricky (Gael GarcĂa Bernal) prepare for the inevitable showdown, Che is forced to choose between his loving family and a blonde American with more than her share of secrets as dark clouds gather overhead and the storm draws ever closer.
