Three generations of losers come together under embarrassing circumstances in this dark comedy from French Canadian filmmaker Robin Aubert. Jo (Michel Barrette) is a man in a family where men don't get much respect; like most of his male relations, Jo has a habit of drinking too much and doing foolish and dangerous things, and when that happens, it's the women who get together and decide how to clean up the mess. Jo's latest folly comes after the death of his wife; convinced he can't get along without her, he digs up her body, loads it into his car and drives off into the night to parts unknown. After a family meting among the ladies, it's decided that someone needs to find Jo for his own good, and his adult son Hugo (Patrick Hivon) and aging father Conrad (Jean Lapointe) are given the job of bringing him home. Hugo, who deals with his anxieties by drinking and picking up women, hasn't had much use for Jo ever since he divorced Hugo's mom, and Conrad is old, cranky and doesn't like much of anyone, especially his son and grandson. However, neither have the nerve to stand up to the women, and they set out together to find Jo while the local police are still in a forgiving mood about the matter of grave robbing.
