This Turkish drama, set in the tumultuous '80s follows Ugur, a newly divorced account and aspiring author as he begins to adjusting to Turkey's new capitalistic life-styles and living alone in a hotel. His adjustment is not helped when he falls in love with Nihal, an old friend and wife of Kemal, a political prisoner. When they discover Kemal may be freed, the two decide to leave Turkey.
