John Ford's older brother Francis and Poverty Row perennial Ashton Dearholt (aka Richard Holt) collaborated on this obscure silent western in which a couple of cowboys introduce democracy to the mythical kingdom of San Gordio. Ford had starred for Universal in the 1910s, but his career was waning in the 1920s. He later became more and more dependent on his younger brother, whom he had introduced to filmmaking in the first place.
