Synopsis by Clarke Fountain
Viktorie is no longer young, but she has a real passion for life -- one not shared, evidently, by her ex-husband, a doctor who is still part of her social circle. She magnetizes men with great abandon and parties with gusto. In fact, she is sufficiently wild to have made a boyfriend out of a dread-locked rebel who is barely out of his diapers (figuratively). She and her various men are part of Prague's intellectual "elite." These are people who find communism boring and capitalism frightening. One couple she sees from time to time is composed of a moody non-artist and his intensely insecure girlfriend, whom he treats abominably.
